For guest who won't be staying at the wedding venue, we'll provide transportation for both the welcome event and the wedding day

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

WELCOME DINNER
Summer cocktail attire :
Stylish and refined attire for a summer evening. Cocktail dresses (no white) and linen suits will set the perfect tone to begin the celebrations.

WEDDING DAY
Black tie attire :
A day of elegance and distinction at the Château. Gentlemen are invited to wear black smoking and ladies are welcome to wear full-length evening dresses.

WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?

Yes all events will be held outside. We'll provide heels protectors to our lady guests for more comfort in the grass.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

This will be an adult-only wedding, we therefore kindly ask that your children do not attend the wedding.

SARTHE COUNTRYSIDE

BERCÉ FOREST
Spend the morning, the evening, or even all day exploring this sumptuous oak forest. The ways to do it are multiple, walking, with bikes and even by horse.

ANTIQUE SHOPS
If you are an antique lover, you should go collecting at the village La Chartre-sur-le-Loire, located 20 minutes driving distance from Hotel Château. The best shops are Armel Labbé Antiquités, Simone The Family Store or the artist Jean-Luc Jérôme.

BOAT TOURS
You should enjoy a boat tour on the Sarthe river during summertime. It is a beautiful way to discover the region, from a few hours boat trip to a lunch or dinner cruise.

HELICOPTER & HOT AIR BALLOON
What better way to discover the Loire Valley and its impressive castles than doing it from the sky? We highly recommend a helicopter ride or a Balloon flight with a departure from the Château’s gardens

If you are a real cooking lover searching for new recipes, why not enjoy yourself by learning to cook with the executive Chef Maxime Thomas? Share a true moment of exchange and passion from the garden of the Château to the dish. 1 hour of cooking class: 75€ per person

A massage could be the answer if you wish for a moment of pure relaxation. To book you the perfect treatment, we kindly invite you to inform the venue in advance.

GAME FIELDS
Beyond the potager on your right, you will find the game field where you can play sports such as badminton, football or croquet. Don’t hesitate to come to the concierge desk if you are interested.

BOARD GAMES
If the sky turns grey or you prefer to stay inside, make yourself comfortable in one of salons to play a board game like you were at home.

LOIRE VALLEY

CASTLES
The area is sprinkled with hundreds of castles. Many of those are open to the public and within driving distance.

CITIES
The Loire Valley is the perfect region to discover historical cities and villages with unique architecture.
LE MANS is the closest city to Hotel Château, located about 30 minutes driving distance. It offers a peaceful and historical old town called “La cité Plantagenêt.” You must discover the spectacular Saint-Julien cathedral and wander the narrow medieval streets. If you want to learn more about the city’s history, guided visits are possible.
During summer nights, you can even admire a light show in the old town called “La Nuit des Chimères.”
Le Mans is also well known for the mythical 24 Hours of Le Mans race. If you are interested in cars, we highly recommend visiting the museum dedicated to this yearly world event.
